This poem plaque, "For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, the horse was lost. For want of a horse,....", is made of Western Red Cedar. The plaque is hand sanded and the wood stained . After painting the engraved text, artwork and border with 1-Shot black sign enamel, the plaque is clear-coated twice with clear polyurethane acrylic .
