WP5209 - Poem Plaque, "High Flight", Engraved Stained Cedar
This plaque has engraved the poem "High Flight", by John McGee, Jr.. It is carved from Western Red Cedar. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used, or its natural wood color (no stain), . After painting the art and text with 1-Shot black sign enamel, the plaque is clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
