WP5180 - Air Force 118th Mission Support Group Command Photo Plaque
This Air Force 118th Mission Support Group command board is carved in 2.5-D bas-relief. The plaque is carved from Western Red Cedar and is sandblasted. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light as shown to very dark. The central silver and blue artwork is carved in 2.5-D and artist painted.The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic . The photos are easily changed out by sliding an existing one out and a new one in, from the top of the photo frames which are built into the plaque.
