WP-5015. National Forest Service Desk Plaque, with Forest Service Sign and Seal
This desk plaque for the National Forest Service is carved in engraved relief from Western Red Cedar. It is made in two pieces, the sign and the base, with the sign mounted on the base with two steel rods. The sign is engraved and the text is artist painted. The base is hand sanded and stained to get the specified color. The artwork (National Forest seal) is engraved on the base and artist painted with 1-Shot sign enamels. The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
