MA1000 - Carved 3-D and 2.5-D Bronze-Plated Wall Plaques
The bronze-plated plaques in this section are carved in 3-D bas-relief or 2.5-D engraved relief. They are plated with real bronze metal, and are polished by hand in elevated areas of the artwork , text and border. Some plaques have hand-rubbed dark patina or dark bronze paint hand-rubbed into the backgrounds and artwork crevices to enhance the contrast with polished areas. The plaques are all clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic coating.
