This Chain-of-Command photo board for the Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station, San Diego is carved from High Density polyurethane (HDU) which is painted with a wood grain pattern. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The staff's names/rank/ positions are engraved in brass plates and slide into the name holders under the photos, which can also be easily changed out . The crest in the middle is carved in 2.5-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels. This plaque is clear-coated twice. Plaques of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 36 inches to 96 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos , nameplates, and crests.
