Chain-of-Command and Duty Status Board for the US Coast Guard Cutter Waesche
This large Chain-of-Command and duty status board for the US Coast Guard Cutter Waesche is carved from High-Density-Urethane, painted to look wood grain. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The officer names/ranks or positions are engraved in brass plates and slide into the name holders under the photos. The sailors have sliding nameplates that have duty status that can be ceasily selected (green on-duty, red off-duty). The ship's name at the top is carved in raised relief . The unit seals, crests and badges are carved in 3-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels. This plaque is clear-coated twice, and can be place outside or inside. Plaques of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 24 inches to 120 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos , nameplates, and crests.
