Ship's Chain-of Command and On-Duty Status Board for USCGC Katmai Bay, WTGB 101
This is a carved Mahogany Command and On-Duty Status Board made for the US Coast Guard Cutter, Katmai Bay. The insignia are carved in 3-D bas-relief from High-Density-Urethane, painted metallic gold & silver, and mounted on the top of the board. The name plates of the crew will be engraved with their name, and rating and inserted into the slides. The name plates can be slid in their holders to indicate whether they are currently on-duty (green) or off-duty (red). The name plates of the crew will be engraved with their name and rating. The ship's crest has a carved border and the central artwork is digitally printed on giclee vinyl, because it was too small to carve accurately. The white are is a whiteboard which can be used to write current orders or other important information. The wood board is clear-coated twice. This Command and On-Duty Board will withstand maritime conditions. This and similar Ship and Base Command Boards can be ordered in any size from 24 inches to 60 inches wide.
