Chain-of-Command Photo Board for the District of Columbia Air National Guard
This Chain-of-Command Photo Board Department, made for the District of Columbia Air National Guard, is carved from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained dark . The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The unit name at the top of the board is carved in raised relief and painted black, as are the position names under the photos. The unit crest on the left and Air National Guard shield crest on the right are carved from HDU in 2.5-D multi-level raised relief and artist-painted. This plaque is clear-coated twice.
