Chain-of-Command and Duty Status Board for the Coast Guard Cutter Frederick Hatch
This Chain-of-Command and crew duty status board board is carved from California Redwood. The name title is carved in raised relief and painted metallic brass. The photo of Frederick Hatch and the ship's crest are printed giclee vinyl appliques. The brass / silver-colored Coast Guard insignia at the top of the board is carved from HDU in 3-D bas-relief. The crew name holders are plastic and engraved brass or plastic plates can be inserted and easily replaced. The plates can be slid in the holders to indicate whether the crew member is on-duty (green) or off-duty (red). This plaque is clear-coated twice to protect against the marine environment.
