Chain-of-Command and Award Photo Board for the AMC/A9 Analyses Assessments and Lessons Learned Group
This Chain-of-Command and Award photo board for the AMC/A9 Analyses Assessments and Lessons Learned group for the US Air Force's Air Mobility Command is carved from High-Density-Urethane (HDU). After carving, it is sandblasted in a wood grain texture and painted with white sign enamel. The officers and airmen have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The officer names/ranks or award titles are engraved in plastic plates and slide into the holders under the photos, and can be easily changed out. The title at the top and the aircraft below it are carved in 2.5-D raised relief . These are artist painted with long-lasting sign enamels, This plaque is clear-coated twice, and can be place outside or inside. Plaques of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 36 inches to 120 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos , nameplates, and crests.
