Chain-of-Command Photo Board for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School, Defense Threat Reduction Agency
This large Chain-of-Command photo board for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, is carved from California Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The officer names/ranks or positions are engraved in brass and slid into the name holders under the photos, and can be easily changed out. The "Chain of Command" title at the top is carved in raised relief .The two unit crests at the top are carved in 3-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels.
