Chain-of-Command Photo Board for a Military Supply Department
This large Chain-of-Command photo board for a military Supply Department is carved from Mahogany wood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The officers and men have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The names of positions are carved into the wood The title at the top "SUPPLY DEPARTMENT" is carved in raised relief . The unit crest at the top right is carved in 2.5-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels. The small black and white plaque has text laser engraved in black acrylic plastic. This plaque is clear-coated twice, and can be place outside or inside. Plaques of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 48 inches to 120 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos, nameplates, and crests.
