This large display Easel is made for the Chain-of-Command Board for the destroyer USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000). It is made of California Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color to match the Command Board. .This Easel is clear-coated twice to protect against the marine environment. This Easel is also shown in the US Navy plaque photo gallery.
