Chain-of-Command Board for the Mississippi Air National Guard's 172nd Airlift Wing
This Chain-of-Command Board for the Mississippi Air National Guard's 172nd Airlift Wing is carved from California Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The text is carved in raised relief and painted with long-lasting sign enamels. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with glass covers, which can easily be changed-out The two crests are carved in 2.5-D multi-level raised relief from High-Density-Urethane (HDU) and mounted on the plaque. This plaque is clear-coated twice. Other Air Force plaques are shown in the US Air Force plaque photo gallery.
