This is a engraved dedication and perpetual award plaque featuring Boatswain Mate Second Class Owen Hammerberg, who received the Medal of Honor posthumously for bravery in WW II as a diver. The Mahogany plaque is lightly stained , and has mounted on it a giclee photo of him, an engraved text brass plate with the MOH citation, and four images digitally printed mounted on maple wood (including his unit's seal, diver's helmet and Medal of Honor). There are 12 brass plates on which can be inscribed the annual winner of the award. The entire plaque is clear-coated twice. This and similar custom plaques can be ordered in any size from 14 inches to 24 inches in width.
