This is a custom Sailor of the Quarter Award Board for the USCGC William Chadwick . This award board is made of stained lightly sandblasted Western Red Cedar wood, with raised painted text, the carved seal of the USCG, and the ship's crest. A brass name plate is engraved with the name of each sailor selected as Sailor of the Quarter. The plaque is clear-coated twice.
