This Chain-of-Command photo board for the Navy Ship Boxer, LHD4, is carved from Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The recruits have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. . The Recruiting Command seal and Boxer ship crest at the top are carved in 2.5-D raised relief . This board is clear-coated twice, and can be placed outside or inside. Boards of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 24 inches to 84 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos , nameplates, and crests.
