Outstanding Airmen Award Photo Board was made for the Gladiators 821st Contingency Response Support Squadron
This Outstanding Airmen Award Photo Board was made for the Gladiators 821st Contingency Response Support Squadron (CRSS). It is carved from Western Red Cedar and lightly sandblasted to bring out the wood grain. After carving, it is dark stained. The Airman Awardees have their photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with clear acrylic covers (not yet installed) , which can be easily changed-out. The crests of the Squadron is carved in 2.5-D multi-level raised relief, and painted with an artist-brush using long-lasting sign enamels.The plaque is clear-coated twice.
