This is a carved and sandblasted Cedar wood plaque with the crew roster for USS Curtis Wilbur Guided Missile Destroyer (DDG-054). The brass name plates and ranks/ratings of the crew are engraved with their name and rating. Their unit crests and emblems at the top and bottom of the plaque are carved from HDU and artist-brush painted. The wood board is stained very dark clear-coated twice. This and similar award boards can be ordered in any size from 24 inches to 60 inches wide.
