Award Photo Board for the 4th Security Forces Squadron
This Award Photo Board was made for the 4th Security Forces Squadron. It is carved from Western Red Cedar and lightly sandblasted to bring out the wood grain. After carving, it is dark stained, The Airman Awardees have their photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with clear acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The crests of three of the represented groups are carved in 2.5-D multi-level raised relief, and painted with an artist-brush using long-lasting sign enamels. The plaque is clear-coated twice.
